Why I Hate Genetics - An Update

Ok... I promised the results so here they are... may I have a drum roll please!

January

Cholesterol - 232

Triglycerides - 77

LDL - 139

HDL - 83

Ratio - 2.8

July

Cholesterol - 207!

Triglycerides - 54

LDL - 116

HDL - 77

Ratio - 2.7

So what does this all mean??? Well..it means that the CholestOff definitely worked, and that if I keep it up and if I start exercising more regularly, that maybe I can get the levels below 200!

The only thing I did not like to see was that my HDL lowered and the my Triglycerides went up...go figure!

So I stand by my endorsement of CholestOff as it truly worked for me...the proof is in the numbers!

I am similarly plagued by genetics.

I switched doctors, and when she saw the test results, she admonished me for my cholesterol being 180. I was overjoyed that it was below 200 for the first time in my life.

Looks like you have a winning formula for beating it - exercise, diet, and CholestOff.

keep at it!

I hadn't had a cholesterol screening done in, well... forever until a while back when we had a health screening at work. I was quite happy with my cholesterol. My blood pressure? Well, that's another story (and one that genetics again plays a role).
