The 4 Way Test

I am a Rotarian!



The 4 Way test was developed in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor and adopted by Rotary 11 years later. The principles surrounding the 4 way test relate to the principles that all Rotarians subscribe to in relation to how we believe relationships should move forward especially in business situations. The principles in regards to the 4 Way Test includes:

1. Is it the Truth
   


2. Is it fair to all concerned?



3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?



4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

As a Rotarian, I have also noticed that these principles transcend business situations into everyday life as well. I am constantly working to find ways toteach these principles to my own girls as well as instill these principles in the young adults that I work with daily in the collegiate atmosphere that I work within.

With this in mind, over the next few days I will be examining the 4 points within the 4 way test as they relate to parenting and how we raise our children. I hope that you will stop back by to see what is in store!
