Ok, so first off, thanks for bringing tears to my eyes @ 9:30 at night (lol).

Chris, this is spot on. I am so sad every day, every moment I am away from my family. Especially since I know one day my boys will be grown up, with lives and friends that do not include me.

Problem is, even when I'm with my boys, I get overwhelmed sometimes. Then the precious time I do have gets a bit spoiled (at least that's how I perceive it).

As you know, working is tiring and being away is so emotionally draining. I may sound like a sap, but you know what? This sap misses his kids, and I'm glad to know I'm not alone.

Next time you come to Madison, let me know. Maybe we could grab a quick coffee or something.

This is one thing I struggle with...being a working dad, I know I miss a lot, but then at the end of the day there are so many things that need to be done, on top of being there for the girls... it's a hard road to be on at times.
