Aaron still doesn't last more than ten minutes, even on movies he's interested in. For now, we don;t force the issue...we just know it is a part of him. It's not about sitting down and enjoying a movie together (because honestly, it will be quite a few more years before you will be able to do that with two kids), but you have to view it as an opportunity to help your daughter explore and learn new things. It truly is a great thing for her to be so inquisitive, and you don't want to deter her from this by getting frustrated with her (although admittedly, it is not always easy to avoid being frustrated). Got this one for you!!! I get a coloring book out and some crayons and when the going gets rough, let her color and watch at the same time. Aqua Doodle is a GREAT thing if you are worried about crayons in the living room like I am. I also will watch about a half hour, take a snack break, and if she is settled down enough, watch some more. It is sometimes hard for them to watch a whole movie all the way through without questions. Think about it. The Disney flicks she knows well, she has been watching them since before she could ask questions, now she is getting into shows that she isn't familiar with and has more anticipation, she doesn't know the ending like she does with the other movies.
